This week the Portland WoahStork crew is working round the clock! Such long hours means high-stress levels, and we were given a recommendation to try Allen Wrench to soothe out our hectic times. This sativa definitely put us into a much needed blissful state.
Needless to say, in addition to the calm, blissful energy Allen Wrench gave us, we got major munchies! Heading out to town, we felt a strong pull to Ataula, an absolutely fantastic Spanish gastropub. Popular for their many tapas, we got to taste many dishes, including beef and potato “bombs” arriving in a suitably spicy sauce and chorizo “lollipops” which were incredibly addicting.
Pairing our meal with their almost-savory sangria, our culinary experience at Ataula was a night we’ll never forget. Channeling the energy from Allen Wrench into our delightful conversation, the combination was perfect. We give it an A++!
Our spirits still high post-meal, we decided to go for a bit of outdoor fun, stopping by Pedal Bike Tours. They offer many different tours, including a Historic Downtown Tour, Columbia River Gorge Tour, Oregon Brewery Tour, Wine Country Tour, and Oregon Coast Tour. The one that caught our eye was appropriately named the Portland Pot Tour.
What better way to go on an energetic bike tour about pot, on pot? We couldn’t resist! A wonderful exercise through the town, we also learned many facts along the way too, such as Oregon was the first state to decriminalize marijuana possession. The tour took us to some of the best local dispensaries and head shops, and we also learned about the history of hemp.
Our experience on Allen Wrench was nothing short of blissful, and we definitely recommend you try this strain. If you happen to be dining at Ataula or go on a Pedal Bike Tour, then tag #WoahStork and you can win a t-shirt!
