Nature never fails to make our mouth send out a “woah”, with dropped jaws.

This time, nature gives us an awe-inspiring experience with ants. Yep, these little creatures can exhibit complex social behaviors that require group cooperation to achieve success.

The video below shows how ants build bridges in mid-air with just their bodies. If you’ve ever had any form of appreciate for engineering, prepare to marvel at this:

Even crazier is that these behaviors are instinctual, meaning the ant DNA has encoded this behavior in the ant without any need for the ants to communicate with one another. Amazing.
