The Halitrephes jelly (of the class Hydrozoa), is actually quite rare! The last one was seen, it was hanging out at 5,000 feet below sea-level in Baja, Mexico.
Almost nothing is known about this fascinating creature, which almost makes it even more woah-worthy. Mystery is always captivating.
